I grew up right next to Brockwell Park in south London, My favourite park in the world. So when my parents moved us to Dulwich when I was seven, I wasn’t best pleased. I have however come round to the fact that Dulwich and Belair park are both pretty nice too. And as a wedding photographer they’re pretty sweet locations.
I met these two lovelies for a little wander and sort of pre-wedding shoot. They were pretty sceptical going in, but I think they warmed up to it. I totally get the scepticism though, the reason I like having a camera in my hand is so that I don’t have to be in the picture…
Belair house has lovely long lawn leading down from a beautiful Georgian mansion, and little woodland ares with a stream running through the middle. Dulwich park is a little more landscaped with a lake in the centre and paths winding all over the place, lots of secret spots. We then popped to the pub in Dulwich Village. Which has held onto its village charm even though its been encroached by more urban London on all sides.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
