Emily and Phil got hitched in an area of London where they first met. They had a Town Hall Hotel wedding in Bethnal Green, on a beautiful spring day. The area was clearly quite special to them. We got some photographs at the pub where the boys had a pre-wedding pint. And we headed to a little park nearby for some photographs of the pair of them, after the ‘I do’s’.
Emily clearly had a keen eye for design and detail, she’d used road names and maps as a part of the tables-plan and decorations. I love the little details couples put into their weddings, it makes each wedding unique, and lets me get to know the couple a little bit more. We’ve usually only met once or twice before their big day, so it’s such a privilege and a huge leap of faith for couples to put their trust in me.
Another perk to photographing weddings is that I usually get fed, sometimes just left-overs or something more simple than the guests but a few times I’ve been treated to a three course meal! Emily and Phil did just that and it tasted absolutely amazing! Look at the photographs below and you’ll see what I mean!

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
