My cousin Ben got married while I was still studying photography. I had taken some photographs of him and his brothers playing at a local folk night in Oxfordshire, and he’d liked the images I managed to capture. I wasn’t the sole photographer in charge of the day, which I really enjoyed. It allowed me to get a lot more images with the couple not looking at me, just concentrating on each other, which is how it should be.
They got married at Headington Baptist Church and then the reception was at a private venue, with a quick stop at a local windmill to get some photographs of the pair of them. They had a lovely little old car to drive between venues as well.
As Ben is a musician the music at the wedding was awesome, loads of friends and family getting up and contributing to the evening’s entertainment.
