So I thought I should probably get this done before the weddings kick off again next month… And before I go on a little jaunt to the other side of the world to celebrate another brilliant year and recharge for the year to come.
What a year it’s been! I still can’t quite believe I get to go to weddings for a living. To do something I love, while capturing couples celebrating their love, with the friends and family they love… Apologies… that was A LOT of love, but you get the idea, I can’t get enough
2018 has been incredible! While compiling this post I got to go back through all the amazing days I had the pleasure of capturing this year and re-live all the amazing moments. Jenny and Tom got hitched in the stunning peak district, celebrating on a farm filled with alpacas and goats, who all wanted to be a part of the fun. Two Emmas decided to tie the knot at The Asylum in Peckham, in an incredible dilapidated old chapel full of colour and character. I photographed a wedding in the incredible Horniman conservatory on one of the hottest days of the year and also backed up through an arch of swords outside St Clement Danes at the wedding of Jacqueline and Daniel, who is a member of the Royal Air force. That wedding also featured my first ever Chinese tea ceremony, a lovely tradition of thanking all the important family in the couples life with the offering of tea and gifts.
Anyhoo, without further ado below is a selection of some of my favourite moments from the year; you can view them in a slideshow or scroll through them at your own speed, Enjoy all the confetti, tears laughter and smiles!
