I was so thrilled to be asked to be Terri and Paul’s Harrild and sons wedding photographer. We met over a couple of glasses of wine at a little bar in Soho. I immediately knew I wanted to capture their big day. We chatted like old friends and I was excited to hear they would soon be moving to New York soon. Terri was being relocated and they were excited to be marking the end of their time in London by committing to each other. They’d lived in Soho for the past few years and really wanted to have a big London wedding before travelling across the pond
On the morning of their wedding I met Terri at a beautiful hotel in Mayfair where all her girls were a whirlwind around her getting themselves ready. I then popped along to join Paul where he was having a pre-wedding pint to chill the nerves before marrying his best mate. It was a gorgeous day with a ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall followed by a lovely meal the Harrild and Sons in the city. The pub had gorgeous light with sunshine streaming through the windows while they ate their delicious meal. Speeches were held in the atmospheric basement with bubbles flowing while their ska band got ready upstairs. The music was amazing and they danced the night away.
Below is a slideshow of some of the highlights.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
