Saga and Matt got hitched in the city followed by heading to St John at Hackney church for their wedding reception.
They met up outside the Tate Gallery and we all wandered over to St Mary Aldermary church near St Pauls Cathedral. It was fun capturing the procession of happy faces wandering across the Millennium bridge. Saga with flowers in her hair and a billowing blue cape. She was wearing a dress that looked a little Elizabethan with its beautiful embroidery.
St Mary Aldermary is former medieval church, largely destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666. It was rebuilt in 1679-82 by Sir Christopher Wren’s master craftsmen. It is the only surviving late c17th Gothic church in the City of London.
The day was very DIY. When we headed to Hackney Church the place looked stunning. The long tables were set up like a banquet. There were jars of homemade chutneys and pickles and whole lobsters. The tables were adorned with fairy lights held up with real branches. A pudding tables set over to the side with homemade treats from friends and family. They definietely ate in style!

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
