Dave and Andrea had a wedding that was entirely tailored to match who they are, what they enjoy and they type of day they wanted. It didn’t follow anyone else’s idea of what people think you should do on a wedding. They read their vows as a couple, messing up very near the beginning and getting a big laugh. It was very heartfelt but they didn’t take themselves too seriously, which was really refreshing.
They even wrote up a manifesto and got friends and family to pitch in with whatever they could. It did help that they have spent a lot of time working on festivals as a set up crew so they had a number of friends with quite a lot of the things you’d need to put on an event.
Their wedding was one of the most colourful and fun days I’ve been able to be a part of. They also had one of the loveliest details I’ve seen at any wedding I’ve been to. They got plastic cups made up, which look just like the ones you get at Latitude festival, with a design on them to give you a bit of the DaveAndrea story. I’m not sure I’m selling it by describing it… but check out the picture below and you’ll see. They also made a lovely keepsake from the wedding, as everyone got to take one home.
They day included lots of music from all Andrea’s musician friends and an amazing BBQ cooked by the two dads. There was a lovely big fire pit for when the temperature dropped a bit, and in the evening they whipped out the silent disco. The silent disco started off in the tent but later, when everyone realised the signal carried further, spilled out across the field. You could see the coloured headphones getting further and further away as the evening went on.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
