Devonshire Terrace London Wedding Photographer

Cleo and Tom are two of the loveliest humans you’ll ever meet! They met at school and stayed together through heading to different universities and living in different countries. While growing up they grew together, and I could tell from their day how well matched they are. I could also see how many lovely people they’ve surrounded themselves with along the way.

Cleo and Tom both got ready in houses bursting with friends and family, including little baby Josie, Cleo’s three-week-old little niece. Both houses seemed super chilled by the impeding ‘I do’s’!

They got hitched at the gorgeous Devonshire terrace in London, it was my first wedding at this beautiful venue and I loved it! The square is covered in a glass roof so you can still be outside even if the heavens opened, which of course they didn’t…. It was one of the hottest days of 2019 it was boiling! Cleo had designed a backdrop of hundreds of little white cones that she enlisted friends and family to help with, and it made for a stunning background! Along with the crazy beautiful flowers designed and put together by one of their friends and guests (@beaudestudio)!

The sun shone all day long and the drinks flowed. The speeches were hilarious, including one by three of Cleo’s bridesmaids and Cleo herself. I love it when the girls get to have their say too. Why should the groom get a roasting alone!

These two love a good dance and I found it quite hard to drag myself away from everyone letting their hair down, throwing shapes and loosing voices… Oh and breaking glasses :)

I wish Cleo and Tom all the best and I’m grateful I got to be a part of their gorgeous day, and I got to document all the loveliness. I hope I get to be a Devonshire Terrace wedding photographer again!
