Cathy and Peter got married at the beautiful Mayfair Library. They found me through the lovely Justina who has does make up for weddings for years now. I met the couple and their two beautiful children only a week or so before their big day. But that doesn’t matter when it comes to being able to see and capture a couples personality and love for each other.

It was a pretty rainy day and in November so there wasn’t a lot of light to start with… I had to use my trusty flashgun quite a bit, using walls and ceilings to try and create some nice light. Having their children there was really beautiful, not only because they were a joy to photograph, but because they could share in their parents day and be a part of their story.

They got ready and had their reception at the Hotel Russell in Russell Square, the room they had their wedding breakfast in was brilliant, nice and intimate and decked out with lovely flowers and candles and a nice little checked dance floor.
