Hetty and Florin said their I do’s a couple of weeks before lockdown in 2020! They Snuck in under the wire and I couldn’t be happier for them, or that I got to be their Kenilworth wedding photographer.

Hetty started the morning with all her girls, filling up a salon near her parents home with laughter and music and tears and dancing. All her mates were there for everything she needed. They brought her bubbles and showed her funny dog videos to make her laugh away the emotional tears that came when she popped her veil on. They’d even printed up a life-size cutout of the bridesmaid that couldn’t get over from South America. Florin had a much more chilled morning having a few drinks in a nearby hotel with his best man.

Everyone then headed to St Nicholas’ Church, Hetty’s childhood church, a beautiful old building for the occasion. With delicious cake to be had afterwards and they left through a curtain of bubbles blown at them by their loved ones. The rest of the day involved food and dancing and lovely words were said. They sadly didn’t get their honeymoon in Greece due to Covid… But at least they got to make that all important commitment to each other.
