Corpus College Oxford Wedding // 21/08/2021

Kitty and Joe got hitched in front of all their family and friends in the beautiful setting of Corpus Christi College in Oxford and I had the joy of being their wedding photographer. The couple were hoping to get married outside in the quod, but the Great British weather was not on their side. They quickly pivoted to have the wedding in the gorgeous dining room, everyone was a bit crammed in, sitting around tables and there was a bit of squeezing out of the way when Kitty walked down the ‘aisle’… But it just added to the excited and joyous atmosphere and was definitely a better backup plan than getting hitched in the slightly less characterful auditorium.

Everyone got on board and nobody let the rain get in the way! Kitty’s mum had designed all the flower arrangements and Kitty was wearing a vintage dress she’d had altered to fit her like a glove. Charlie MacGregor was roped in to make everyone look their best in the morning. And Bow Reed Ceilidh were tasked with making sure everyone had a good time in the evening. We snuck out of college during a dry spell to get some couple shots in a few nearby iconic Oxford spots, around the Radcliff Camera and in front of the bridge of sighs. I loved capturing everyone reacting to all the lovely speeches and then eveyone dancing the night away.
