Lauren and Chris got hitched in the incredible setting of The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and I was thrilled to be their wedding photographer. Lauren got ready in lovely Porterhouse Grill & Rooms with two of her favourite people before a quick taxi ride to the incredible venue of The Ashmolean museum in Oxford. They had their ceremony in the rooftop restaurant surrounded by gorgeous Nong Smitinand flowers. We then wandered down to The Jam factory, a really cool quirky venue that they filled with more flowers and enjoyed lovely speeches and a delicious meal.

Both spaces felt really modern and relaxed and very them. It captured a different side to Oxford than the one usually portrayed in weddings, with old architecture and grand churches. It felt much more down to earth. The couple were about to move countries and so they brought all their houseplants to the venue and there was a free for all, take a plant home at the end of the night giveaway. Which I thought was a lovely idea. I really hope to be able to shoot more weddings at the Ashmolean museum in the coming years.
