Harewood forest Andover// Hampshire // 20/08/22

Nestled in Harewood Forest in Andover is a wedding venue that, as a wedding photographer, was a dream to capture. To get to it you have to drive quite a way into the heart of the forest and then park up and walk a little way over to a clearing, and even then it isn’t completely clear what the venue has in store. It a maze of structures, offering a mixture of cover and clearings. With cozy seating and a bar, space for dancing and lovely long tables for feasting. Plants surround you and blur the lines between outside and inside to the point where you’re not quite sure which is which. It’s a magical place and was a gorgeous setting for Rachel and Ben’s big day.

They weather played ball so they were able to use all the lovely outside spaces for the ceremony and the meal and everyone was bathed in lovely dappled forest lighting. I had a great time exploring all the spaces and seeking out lovely photographs. We were spoilt for nice spots for photographs of the two of them and I particularly enjoyed the cake competition that was judged by all the kids in attendance, who picked the rainbow as the winner.
