Dom and Laura had a super relaxed day with their friends, family and two beautiful daughters. It was my first time being a Stone Barn wedding photographer and I had a blast. It’s a stunning building, with gorgeous wood burning stoves that make the whole place smell amazing, and super toasty, which was a blessing on a chilly day in February.
The day involved a lot of kids running around, to test my reactions and sport photography skills… They move fast! They also move especially fast when the sweetie table was revealed and the tops came off the jars. A day to let go of all the rules and let the kids get high on sugar, while the adults leaned into the booze on offer.
They’d organised a super fun day for everyone, which a caricaturist and a magician to keep everyone entertained, The magician had an endless supply of wands for the kids and a load of tricks to baffle the adults.
The light in and around the barn was insane! I managed to sneak Dom and Laura outside for a few photographs in the cold, but they really just wanted to spend time with their mates, so I didn’t keep them long. I hope you enjoy looking through their lovely day.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
