Ben and Charlie got married at Headington Baptist Church and I got to be their second wedding photographer. The reception was at a private pavillion, with a quick stop at a local windmill on the way. We stopped at Wheatley Windmill to get some portraits of the pair of them. They had a lovely little old car to drive between venues as well.
My cousin Ben got married while I was still studying photography. I’d taken some photographs of him and his brothers playing at a local folk night in Oxfordshire, and he’d liked the images I managed to capture. I wasn’t the sole photographer in charge of the day, which I really enjoyed. It allowed me to get a lot more images with the couple not looking at me, just concentrating on each other, which is how it should be. Since then I have become a fully fledged Oxford Wedding Photographer.
As Ben is a musician the music at the wedding was awesome, loads of friends and family getting up and contributing to the evening’s entertainment.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
