I was so glad that the lovely Eleanor and Joe invited me to be their Huntsham court wedding photographer. Huntsham is stunning venue situated in the beautiful rolling hills of the Devon countryside. I met up with them at the venue the evening before the wedding and their guests were arriving for an evening of food truck pizza and beer, they were sitting out at the tables in the evening sunshine and making the most of a weekend outside the city. The couple had filled the house’s 40 rooms with 92 of their friends and family for the whole weekend. I loved how relaxed the venue seemed even though it was seriously grand and quite imposing.

On the morning of the wedding I got lost several times getting between where the girls and the boys were getting ready. It’s a maze of corridors and staircases and seemed like a magical place to stay! The wedding itself was in a church nearby and then everyone headed back to hang out in the garden, watch England in the world cup and play with some llamas.

Eleanor’s sister gave a very tearful all round speech and the couple cut their cake with a sword then danced into the night. I left just as the taco truck was arriving! Top notch day
