As an events photographer in Oxfordshire I love all the different sorts of events I get to capture, and it’s been so great getting to know this charity and all that they do. The founder, Ernest cook, had a deep love of the countryside, and when he bequeathed his estate to the ECT charity that love was transferred into the Trust’s important work. Work that helps to nurture lifelong journeys of appreciation and respect for the countryside through a range of outdoor learning experiences mostly with kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.
I’ve photographed lots of Ernest Cook Trust events over the last few years, so it was lovely to be there for one of the main trustee’s retirement parties. It was a gorgeous day in sunny Oxfordshire and I got to capture all the lovely people from all the different parts of the company coming together. They well and truely celebrated all that Andrew had done for them over the years. There was some lovely speeches and gift giving and a delicious cake.
Below are some of the photographs I captured at the lovely event, and you can see more of my events photography if you click on this link.
“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
