I hadn’t seen Holly since I left primary school too many years ago now to say… So when she contacted me to come along to be her wedding photographer I couldn’t have been more excited. Holly and Edward got hitched at the beautiful Belair house in Dulwich, just round the corner from where we grew up. I’ve photographed a few Belair House weddings now and they’ve all been really lovely. It’s a stunning Georgian mansion in the beautiful grounds of Belair park.

Holly and Edward’s day was so full of fun that they didn’t stop smiling the whole day. They’d got the legal bit done and dusted a few days earlier, so they had an aunt of Holly’s officiating the little service. As they were able to go completely off script it was so personal and genuine and a lot of it had been written by the groom himself. It was tears and laughter provoking in equal measure. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

They surrounded themselves with a brilliant bunch of friends and family who were all swept along in their day of music, booze and confetti. There were some excellent speeches including one from the beautiful bride. I love it when the bride has her say rather than just letting the men in her life waffle on! There was a gorgeous cake, a hilarious bouquet toss and the night continued with a band made up of their friends getting everyone up and dancing, where they would stay for the rest of the evening.

I hope Holly and Edward are enjoying married life. And I hope my images allow them to re-live their amazing day for years and years to come. I got this lovely review from Holly after they received their pictures.
