We met at a little wedding fair at Belair house, where they asked me to be their wedding photographer. The wedding took place on a gloriously sunny day in early autumn at Southwark Registry office. In the morning I had to get between where the guys were getting ready to where the bride was and then back over to the registry office. In order to do this they very kindly let me use their wedding transport. An electric two person bike! I had the best time speeding between the venues with very little effort! I’d never used one before and it was great fun. The couple used this method of transport to get from the ceremony to Dulwich park. We went for a little wander to get some shots in the lovely low light before heading to Belair house.
The couple made a grand entrance on their bike to their waiting guests. They weren’t a very traditional couple, as you may be able to tell. Everyone stood around drinking and eating bowl food, that just kept coming on big trays for you to grab if you liked. The speeches were full of fun and everyone crowded around to listen and laugh. They had a little dance and I left them to enjoy the rest of their evening.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
