The Albion Islington wedding photographer // I captured the lovely Sarah and Ryan celebrate choosing to spend their lives together with all their friends and family.
Ryan used an embarrassing nickname during his vows causing much hysterics. Sarah tried to surprise Ryan with the lucky tradition of being greeted outside your wedding by a chimney sweep. Only the actor forgot all his lines and ran away. They laughed the whole way though and couldn’t have been happier all day long.
We wandered from Islington Town Hall over to the Albion pub just down the road. There was a lovely energy to the whole wedding party. We navigated Zebra crossings and wandered through little London squares. We stopped in a little park for some group photographs and then went in search of beer.
The Albion is a Georgian gem left over from a time when Islington was fields and farmland and where the regulars would take afternoon walks out of the city to visit it.
With its wisteria covered façade and log fires, The Albion provides the perfect location to entertain, relax and forget the stresses of modern life, combining a central Islington location, with a picturesque walled garden.

“Lucy’s creative talent & enthusiasm was so obvious when we met her for the first time; we felt completely confident about her photographing our wedding. On the day, our guests commented on how lovely Lucy was as she subtly bounced around capturing so many clever shots. Our day was very colourful and the way she captured this was beyond my expectations…just perfect. She worked her socks off for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.” VIEW GALLERY
