The Lordship pub East Dulwich // 09/04/2022

This was my first wedding as a photographer at The Lordship pub in East Dulwich, and it didn’t disappoint. Jodie and Tristan got married in the stunning setting of Belair House in Belair Park and were treated to some glorious spring sunshine. After the legal bit they roped in Jodies sister to perform a hand-fasting ceremony that involves the couple literally tying a knot together.

We had a lovely visit from the couples gorgeous black Labrador who behaved enough for some photographs before the less important groups were gathered for photos. And then we all jumped on a bus to the pub. The Lordship pub in East Dulwich was a dream as a photographer. The light was lovely streaming in through all the big windows and setting off all the details perfectly. And it made capturing all the speeches super easy, as I didn’t have to distract attention away from anyone as I didn’t need to use lots of flash. I could just capture everyones natural reactions really easily. The staff were also very lovely and accommodating and fed me well. A definite plus.
